Fire Risk Analysis:
Safeguarding Occupants and Assets
Fire Risk Assessment evaluates potential fire hazards and risks in a building or property to ensure safety of occupants and property. It examines building design, construction, use, and fire safety measures like alarms, sprinklers, and emergency lighting. The assessment aims to identify and manage fire risks and ensure safety of all occupants in case of a fire. The fire-forming theory, known as the fire triangle theory, explains the three elements required for a fire to start: fuel, oxygen, and heat. Fire safety is a crucial aspect that management must address to minimize the risk of injury or death to staff or the public.
The objective of this Fire Risk Assessment are to evaluate the facilities that have potential fire related hazard that pose a risk of human injury, damage to the environmental, damage to the properties, business interruption or harm the reputation, and furthermore ensure the adequate Fire Measures including Fire protection System are in place to either eliminate the fire hazard or ensure to reduce the risk to the acceptable level:
Evaluating Fire Safety:
Risk Levels and Recommendations for Operational Facilities
- Determine the risk level of each operational facilities in term of fire safety;
- Fire potential risk identification compares to international standards as the reference;
- Engineering gap analysis;
- Define the recommendation and mitigation of high-risk level and to reduce the risk up to the acceptance level in accordance with the hierarchy of risk control.
- Fire Measure Evaluation on the following aspect :
a. Fire Prevention
b. Fire Detection
c. Fire Control
d. Mitigation
e. Emergency Response
